I wanted to advertise that I've been playing Tournament Edition as Croatian Guinea.
Is there anyone else playing TE? I only wanted to let y'all know because I've been flying solo and am in a good position at #460 of 4,379 nations, which is almost the top tenth percentile. Right now I'm willing and able to help out anyone struggling with raiders in that midrange area. And if anyone wants to join "my" alliance (currently called Exile of the Shattered Star), I'd be willing to change it to the plural.

Not really. Same rules, except it's much faster. There's no diplomacy, really, only raids. Haha. It's strange. I must say I like the classic version better.

I tried it for a couple days, but deleted the nation.
Seems like as much a sandbox for people to try wars without consequences as much as anything else.

That's what I thought it would be as well, Ed. Though I didn't even bother making a nation in TE, so I can't speak to it.
