So the free release has been out for a while (see http://www.mektek.net/projects/mw4/) with additional mechs, including "The Unseen" battlemechs. I'm wondering if folks would be interested in playing a bit. Have some team matches, FFA, whatever. Have some fun. Anyone interested?

I'd be interested but would likely need to know if I can bring over the maps/mechs/loadouts from the downloaded files to the install I have since I own all the discs. Or would I need to uninstall everything and download the files and install that way.

I'd be happy to jump on in.

So I still have my old Microsoft Precision Pro joystick, which I love. However, I don't have anyplace to plug it into anymore! Is there some sort of USB adapter I can get for this?
Also, should I expect any sort of compatibility issues with Vista?

My guess is that there must be some sort of adaptor for a joystick to USB. Having never used one I wouldn't know.
My new laptop is running Vista and it seems to play the game fine as far as I can tell.

I'll be back in the states early next week. I'll get in installed and should be able to play by the following weekend.

Sounds good. How does next Friday night sound for some Mechwarrior?

I'm downloaded and have been playing the campaign. I don't like not having a stick to play with, but I'm getting a little better with the mouse/keyboard setup

Downloaded it, installed it and it just wouldn't run. Errors and crashed to Windows.
