Hey there.
i was wondering if how many ssxers are going to buy and play NWN2.
if there is enough animo we can turn it into a ssx group since there is alot to discuss about the game :)

i already preordered my special edition wich i'll be getting next week or the week after.

For those who don't know what neverwinter nights is:

I'm leery about it, since it sounds like Atari may have rushed it to an early release. That said, my decision about when (and whether or not) to buy the game really hinges on what the critics will have to say.

Not to sound too much like a fanboi,
my copy is preordered to be shipped next thursday,
to arrive before 9am on the release date of Friday 3rd November.

And coincidently I'm off work for other reasons.
So by 9am next friday I'll probably be playing.....sad man :shake:

:thumb:

PS I'd possibly be up for some Multiplayer if the game works out.

I am gonna get shot, tarred and feathered for this, but I am not really interested in NWN 2. I wasn't really enamored with the first one, and the second one just doesn't interest me in the slightest, even though a certain person said something to the equivilant of dragging me into the game bound and gagged ;p

I'd say I will pass on this, however I know some how a copy will manage to find it's way on to my hard drive even if I dont' want it there ;p

You've got it all wrong, silly. We do the tar-and-feathering before we shoot you.

Looking through the manual whilst I wait for teh patch :nervous:

Am suprised at how much variety they added char wise

16 Races! - Human, Two Planetouched, FOUR Elves, Three Dwarf, Two Gnome, Two Halflings, Half-Elf, Half-Orc

Was reading through the standard 12 char classes (Fighter, Monk, Barbarian, Rogue, Wizard, Ranger, Sorcerer, Cleric, Palidan, Bard, Druid) and stumbled across the new Warlock char class

Not to mention adding:
17 Prestige Classes - Arcane Archer, Arcane Trickster, Assasin, Blackguard, Divine Champion, Duelist, Dwarven Defender, Eldritch Knight, Frienzied Berserker, Harper Agent, NeverWinter Nine, Pale Master, Red Dragon Disciple, Shadow Thief of Amn, Shadowdancer, War Priest, Weapon Master.

2 GHz CPU or equivalent, 128 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card or better
The day has come....my Radeon 9700 Pro has become obselete after 4 years. And the first game to make it so is one I actually wanted. Anyone know what this game (and Gothic III for that matter, which also requires 9800 or better) are using that has caused the sudden drop of the 9550 chipset?

...FOUR Elves...
What do you call four elves in a pub? Two short of me having to reload my repeating crossbow.

Actually, with all the comparisons that have been made to Baldur's Gate, I'm getting a little giddy. Moreover, it sounds like when the release deadline was set, Obsidian put their focus on bug-fixing, rather than shoehorning three more prestige classes in. I'll probably pick this up next weekend, when the local stores have had some time to replenish their stock.

Quick easy to miss tip for those who desire to live a life as a stealthy rogue.
If you right click on yourself > select Broadcast Command > Stand Your Ground

Then you are free to go where you will, without the whole group giving away your midnight excursions ;D
