Hi guys and gals, got forwarded this address from some mates. It's actually pretty cool and free. Allows you to post photos, blogs, autolinks you with friends, has IM, PM and e-mail functions.

So, I set up a page, seems to work pretty well for those of us who dont have a URL.

I, too, have an account, though the frequent and mostly annoying technical difficulties MySpace experiences sometimes make me want to throw the devs through a plate- glass window.

A friend of mine in Nashville asked me to it when we started hanging out, suggesting that it's better than "just" having e-mail or such. Once they finally get some of the more frequent issues worked out, it will be a great site. The concept is there, it's just the execution is somewhat lacking, and it always seems to happen right when I'm doing something I consider important.

I started attempts at spiffing up my part of the site. Those of you that have HTML/ webpage knowledge would probably laugh, but it looks better than it did plain. I think the link is: http://www.myspace.com/methysraven for anyone who is interested.

Thanks, Gryphon. There were just so many to choose from, so I watched a couple from Disturbed and chose that one.

If only I knew how to keep the audio track ("Serenity" by Godsmack) and the video ("Liberate" by Disturbed) from playing simultaneously.

Uhm, sorry, in English? I really don't know much about encoding, just what I've seen on www.myspacerocks.com and www.blinkyou.com. The video and audio came from www.pcplanets.com and www.music.myspace.com, but I don't know how to fix that.

I found http://206.225.92.10/myspace/ useful for doing myspace layouts and whatnot but as a general rule of thumb you can do anything you would do do a normal webpage on myspace.

That way your movie will not start until the person clicks play. I figured this made more sense, since you have your mp3 player in the first half of hte page, and the movie in the bottom half.
