So whats your thoughts guys? Got some info on all the changes they've made, new things implemented etc?
Tried playing this evening but had a few problems.
Client crashed everytime i tried to patch it up.
Client totally froze and locked my entire system up forcing me to reboot.
A lot of my characters have borked skins. - Semi transparent, multi textured o.O
Multiple synch probs and i wasn't even logged on a character for longer than 5minutes.
Kicked to login as soon as i logged certain characters on.
Kicked to login after trying to fire a gun.
Given up for the night now, will download the new client they'll be putting up tomorrow and try it again and see if that makes any differance. Either my client is borked somehow (already done a file check, and nothing has changed since the last time i played o.O) or its just good ol' KK.

I'm very impressed myself. The new weapon models look great, and the new sounds to go with some of them work well too. The vegetation looks good where I've seen it (swamp) and doesnt cause any FPS loss, Regants looks sweet. New place to explore with an uber boss at the end that apparently killed a capped char in one shot.

And then it crashed in the middle of respawning me, and zoned me under 3 hoverbots... With lots of ammo + SI = omfg, I can't move.

Can't download from filefront unless you're a payed registered member because the file is too big for their public free servers.
Can't download from the official site cos its gonna take 100+ hours to download cos it was going so damn slow.

had to reistall nc2 after i lost a volume. redownloaded a shed load of patches...even went on to get the 147,8,9 patches (117mb or whatever)
running the launcher...it tries to patch but they all have bad files/checksums
leave it to itself it takes ages and is no better. might be a daft question but, when the old patches go to 190odd why are the new ones (the nc2.1 patches) 147-151 ? I tried overwriting the old patches with these newer ones and missing corrupt files galore!!
anyone gimme the correct method to do this so i can see the 2.1ness?
asside from the fact my comp probably wont be able to deal with it
off to watch liverpool v wigan and have dinner...back later -to see the solution.
and if no ones posted ill cry (like a man)

Methinks you've been downloading the NC1 patches, because the NC2 patches to date only go from 100-151 atm.
I'd check to make sure you've got the right patches if I were you. And if that doesn't work you should grab the new Evo 2.1 client, that comes already patched to 150 from http://www.4players.de/4players.php/dow ... 44930.html

No problems - and improved performance - Lighting actually lets you see just how good the envronment can look.
Gameplay tweaks such as reload times can be a pain , but should encourage a change in gameplay.

Anyone else having trouble logging in every now and then? It'd take me to server select, and then after I select Terra, kick me back out to login. And then no matter what I do it won't let me even get back to server select. Just keeps kicking me back to login
