Anyone with 2 nominations get's on the ballot, let's start by nominating 2 people, and you cannot nominate yourself (yes, I am arbitrarily creating the rules for this).

When it comes time to vote, you CAN and should vote for yourself if you think you can do the job.

Nominations go for a week.

EDIT: I would have gone with Inquisitor, since he has done an exceptional job this past year, but I suspect that this year the arbiter will have some more WoW issues, and I prefer BD's stance on the issue.

Might behoove you to find out before posting then ;)

Once a year, we vote for a head monkey, someone who settles disputes and answers questions about "how to do things."

someone to bring problems to if there is a need.

That someone than gets to "arbitrate" a solution if necessary, and the whole SSX defers to that arbitration.

I also happen to have facilitated the whole "where does the website go and what should it do" thing over the last year (with alot of help from KJ, Fahd, and, well, everyone really).

It's someone to point to if there is a problem, that can hopefully fix, or help fix that problem. It's someone to go to for advice, if advice is necessary.

I'd nominate someone who can do the job, can watch out for us, and will have some notion of sticking around to do it.

if I thought MS would do it, I'd nominate him ;)
