Quick update. I've just spent a while revamping the thread in preparation for launch.
There's now a space for each members details to be added once we get ingame and we've created our characters. I've styled it all too so hopefully everyone will find it easy to read and neat and tidy.
I think we should probably keep the classes & professions of our alt characters off the list as things will just get silly then, especially for those who like to create a crazy amount of alts heh.

The list will likely get really long as we get bigger and when that time comes we can look at an alternative for the group site or something but for the time being I think this will do the job nicely and be easy enough to update. :)

Still need "Shadzeh" to confirm their identity too whilst I'm asking. Come out from hiding already :p :)

When TOR is released next month the Guild HQ on the BioWare website will be taken offline. Since that system goes by TOR account name that is what we've been using to list our members on here up until now too. However from Dec 15th I'll be scrapping the pre-launch list we have up now to one which only includes the members who are actually playing with us, and I'll update that as each of us creates our characters. - The first character you create gets invited to the guild automatically.
The roster list will still be set out exactly the same as it is now for main character name, class, professions & alts but from early access onwards will just go by our SSX forum name and then ingame main character rather than including TOR account names in the list too since we won't need to go by those anymore. Unless you guys still think we should ofc, though other than some of us using those names to post on the official forums we prolly don't need to imo. :)

Computer, as expected, would be running low fps in low res and, atm, a machine upgrade is 4-6 months away.
Once our big interstate move is done, and things settle, I'll undoubtably upgrade the machine and re-eval.
That said, maybe they'll push back the release date for 6 months and all will be well. ;)

Thanks for the heads up, Oz. I'll leave you on the above list for now since we'll be swapping this pre-launch list over the the proper post-launch one in 4 weeks time but will keep that in mind for when I put that up.
It is a shame to hear that your computer can't run it very well, I can sympathise there after forever struggling to run newer games at decent settings up until the last 1-2yrs.
Hopefully you'll be able to join us a few months into the new year once you have upgraded. We won't be going anywhere hopefully :thumb:

And don't go wishing for any release days now. We've waited long enough! :lol:

Just a quick update.
I've hidden the pre-launch guild list with a spoiler tag now that they have been locked and the real launch roster will appear above it from now on. I'll be changing the graphic for that over before early access beguns and this will show where to find us. - I'll delete the pre-launch list completely once our proper list has filled up a bit but will leave it there for now just so I can tick people off.

It was suggested on IRC yesterday that we make a list of peoples playtimes according to GMT, to help coordinate flashpoints, operations and group play like that. Rather than have a separate thread for those I've incorporated them into this thread instead so we can keep all that info in one place. If you'll only be able to play certain days or times it may be helpful to fill this info in under your details. Up to you.

Each member of the guild will have their own little "profile" in this roster thread like this example;

* Everyones SSX forum name will be listed at the top in gold.
* From there it'll list your main character - If you decide later down the road that you want to play a different class as your main we can update this, np.
* Class - Including your advanced class (sniper/operative, assassin/sorcerer or whatever) and if possible it would be helpful to list what role your character fits. Since the classes are so diverse an Inquisitor could essentially be a mid-range DPS, Ranged DPS, Healer or Tank depending on what advanced class and build you go with.
* Crew Skills - Just for your main character, or the main skills you've worked at improving. I know some people like to make alt after alt and have professions on those as well but this could get silly if we start listing every single one lol.
* Legacy Name - Self explanatory.
* Alternate Characters - Just the names of the alts you have on the same server, which should either be SSX clanned (more than welcome) or clanless.
* Playtimes GMT - If you want to fill this section in according to the GMT timezone that would probably help those who want to try organising things in advance or to get an idea when most people are playing.

I'll post a reminder in one of the early access threads when we start gaining access to the game but if everyone can make the effort to check this thread when you've created your character to see if your info needs adding and make a post if it does or let one of us know the above info by PM or ingame so it can be updated. I'll be asking around ingame too and making notes to try and cover all bases. Since it's likely (but yet to be confirmed) that anyone who joined the pre-launch guild will get an automatic invite on their first character I want everyone accounted for, especially since there are 2 people who joined who never said who they were when I've asked and I'm not sure whether they are new members who need to register here if they haven't already or existing members who don't check the forums very often.
*If you can also reply/pm to make sure your info stays up-to-date as time goes on that would be greatly appreciated :thumb:

The guild interface appears to have the note function. I'm guessing the "member note" is public which officers can set. If that's the case I think it'll be a good idea to add our forum names as a member note next to each of our ingame characters too. This way we know right away who everyone is without having to ask or check this thread. If possible we could add crew skills as a note too but that'll depend how much space it allows, I'd say forum names would be priority at least initially.

When you come to choosing crew skills, legacy names etc etc feel free to reply again to update. So far we've got everyone that has been ingame on the list now so that's the main thing :D

Going by my list of confirmed members there should be 5 more peeps to create their characters and be invited; Kixi (renamed as Shiddix, just to note), Lee, Pad, suggz and Chim who should be with us a week or two after launch. That'll bring us to 15 members ingame with the 10 of us already in.
Our pre-launch roster had another 8 on top of that (23 in total) but 2 of those won't be playing (Ozone & Kahn). The other 6 [Axavier, Darth_Ada (???), Iyeman, Messiah, NF, Shadzeh (???)] didn't post to confirm or not so there's still a chance they'll pop in too, fingers crossed. Either way I think we'll have a crackin' group here for such early days. Off to a great start I'd say! :thumb:

Iyeman canceled his pre-order and said he didn't think it would be his sort of game. Dunno if he'll pick it up at a later date or not. So I'd consider him a no-go for now.

That's a shame to hear but noted, cheers Mech.
Perhaps BioWare will offer a referral system or free trial at some point after launch. Mebbe he or others too could give that a try if/when they become available, maybe change their mind :)

My main char is Pad on Bloodworthy (I also reserved Padishar) and will remain so.

But for the time being, I also just made (Republic) Padishar and Pad on Jedi Covenant (US)

Simply due to the fact that I would like to play SWTOR some time this weekend and the name seemed appropriate. LOL
2hr ques to get on Bloodworthy every time during the day,
when work has already been limiting my game time, is getting old pretty fast.

Tho I foresee that being a daytime issue, as I should be able to get on Bloodworthy during (US) nights,
since that is early early morning on the other side of the ocean...
