Bunches of gysahl greens(popular)
Bunches of Sharug greens, bunches of Azouph greens (Satisfys chocobo's hunger, raises affection)
Wildgrasses (medicine):
Clump of Gausebit wildgrass (wounds)
Clump of Tokopekko wildgrass (illness)
Clump of Garidav wildgrass (stomachache)
Carrots (strength & discernment):
Vomp Carrots (physical attributes)
Zegham Carrots (mental attributes)
San d'Orian Carrots
Worms:
Cupid worm (affection)
Gregarious worm (restores energy)
Parasite worm
Potions:
Chocolixir (restore energy to full)
Celerity salads (effective for most status abnormalities)
Pastes:
Carrot paste
Herb paste
Vegetable paste
Worm paste
The VCS Chocobo trainer can tell you all this and lots more but i was making some notes for myself so i could look at them again whenever i wanted without having to keep asking the NPC, thought i may as well post them up.

Greens are sold by the vendor NPCs at the stables, and I think you can vendor by carrots and some of the other food listed.
Well after 36 hours I still just have an egg, but it wiggles when I check it. I'm hoping for one of the little green chocobos, but mainly I'm just excited about the chocobo whistle

Going by that i don't think we'll see any different coloured chocobos nm what their attributes are, until the next update.It was stated in the June 19 Topics that a chocobos appearance would change along with its attributes. Due to an extension of the testing period, these changes will now be implemented in a following version update.

Just thought i'd mention, if anyone happened to choose the rest plan for their chocobo by mistake or whatever, your choco may still wake up.
I set my chocobo to rest a couple of days ago but as soon as i heard about the rest bug i went and changed his schedule to basic care in the hopes that it would cancel it. The next day i logged on to find my chocobo asleep, however when i checked him today he's wide awake again and not dead afterall.
