I think it should be a year. That matches up with certain financial considerations usually required of leadership, and gives periods of stability and consistency. I don't think it should be shorter than 6 months. It takes a long time to get to know everyone and how they tick.

Of course, we could always say, impeach said arbiter if he/she was a schmuck, so it's not like your stuck with this, or any decision for that matter.

So, on that note, what should the length be? I am going to take it as an implied "Quiz is still interim" till we sort this out, so speak quickly, we should not let this interim last long. Post what you think it should be, and what benefits you see that term length as having. I see the options as 6 or 12 months.

It'd be kinda dull if we had to renew this every six months, and it'd serve no purpose whatsoever.

I'd vote for an indefinite period. We've already agreed that if something gets out of whack in the future, we'll just simply put another poll up of the same thing, and gather fresh opinion.

Full year. Reason being that too many elections leads to voter apathy (or more of it than would otherwise be expected at least).

Indefinite.

Or I if I had to, a year - We've never had problems with anyone before, and I'm sure if someone wants to step down and pass the torch, it would be no hassle to make it happen.

I voted for 12months, but i'm okay with indefinite too. Like BD has already said, if something goes wrong then we can just put a poll up and vote again like we did the last time.

Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

I am in favor of terms. Even if we vote the same guy in over and over, makes us evaluate it periodically.
