Looking good.
I think they needed to show off something like that as Elite Dangerous Horizon has been rolled out with planetary interaction.
(which I've not personally played ... yet, and can't therefore give an accurate comment).
Anyway as Alpha 2.0 has now hit the servers, I'll be hitting that up over the next couple of weeks and see how the multi-crew ships look and feel.
