And easy decision for me deciding on BF3 or MW3.
Whilst I have loved CoD multiplayers in the past and I don't dislike them and certainly not a CoD hater I do believe DICE have the better product with BF3 even with the implementation of origin & such which I'm not fond of.
For me there's nothing quite like having a big open 64 player map with tanks, jeeps, heli's and jets flying above that the CoD experience just can't match. They can't offer that and their maps are small scale in comparison and much more linear. Battlefield's (Caspian Border map more than metro) really do feel like a warzone. How can I resist after the
awesome trailer?.

hehe.
I also hate Activision's pricing scheme and it's something I try not to support. I've pre-ordered BF3 for just under 30 quid and it comes with the extra map pack/weapons and battlelog (whatever peoples thoughts on it being browser based) offers the same as MW3's enite statistics system except completely free. MW3 comes with none of that, they're charging a subscription fee for elite and you can't get the game cheaper than £35. I'm all for supporting game developers but there's no reason why Activision published titles should cost more than other PC releases other than the fact they know they can get away with it with a huge franchise like CoD and people will still inevitably pay whatever price tag they put on it.
I'll most likely buy MW3 in the future when it's cheaper but mainly just to see if the SP is any good. BF3 is where multi's at for me so that's the only title I'll be getting on release. That being said If I've burned myself out on BF3 multi by then I'll probably start playing MW3's as I don't dislike their multiplayer as I say, I just think battlefields offers more
