I am currently at the point in the game where my growth and size are making it wise to consider purchasing tech. My inf is around 2450k, I've got 27500 working citizens, my strength is over 10k, bringing in about 1.1 million/day after bills, and really only 3 important improvements left to buy as a peacetime nation. I imagine that with my low tech level, I am probably looking like a tasty snack for an agressor nation.
I will most likely start buying tech within the next 4-6 weeks. Isileth, do you think you will be ready to start buying tech any time soon? If so, maybe we can petition NV to set us up with another buyer and use only SSX members as sellers. Inquisitor might be able to transition to tech buying, but I think there is still a lot of growing he should do before that.

I don't want a deal. The standard tech deal is fair, and if anyone should be enriched, it should be alliance members. 3 million is the max cash transfer. Otherwise, we could send more aid to alliance mates in these transactions.

I doubt I will be in a position to buy tech for a while longer, since the jump im making a lot less after bills, still need to get a few more improvements. Im on to clinics now so im hoping I can quickly get a hospital out and maybe finally get some real income going again.
As it is im still selling tech to NV. Although ive only done 2 trades since our original one. Just had a 3x1 offer out whenever I had the slots free, easier for me but not for others so I tend to have to wait a while for it to come in.

Okay. I'll give you a warning at least one trade cycle before I make the transition. Hopefully, NV will be willing to modify one of their deals so I can buy from some of you. If things change enough, maybe we can fashion our own tech deal at some point.

Looks like they will be restructuring tech deals over at NV. I've asked to become a buyer. I'd like to structure a tech deal here, but we don't have enough people to make it work just now.
