Nueva Vida Protectorate

We have gotten a protectorate agreement with the large Blue alliance Nueva Vida (New Life in Spanish, btw). In CN it's customary for small alliances to be protected so that they don't get steamrolled by raiders.
This is very good news for us, as it means that we get to join NV's "Vidian Enterprise." The TVE, as it is called, is a system for well organized, efficient tech deals. Tech deals are when a large nation sends a new nation a lot of money, the new nation buys technology to send back to the large nation, and keeps the change. It's done thing way because tech gets a lot more expensive as you have more. It is highly profitable for noobs.
This is as soon as Raasaa writes up the nice, long-winded official document to present on the CN forums, we can announce our existence. Now might also be a good time to move off of the RAD AA. So, here's what I suggest we all do:
1) Switch your alliance affiliation to Shattered Star Exiles.
2) Put "Protected by Nueva Vida" in your nation bio, since most raiders don't read the CN boards.
3) Register on the NV forums and post an "application" to TVE here. Make a new thread containing the following information (feel free to copy/paste):
Note: The IRC channel listed is #SSX-CN on irc.coldfront.net. In CN, it is standard for each alliance to have a public channel and a private channel. This is due to the tendency of people to discuss sensitive subjects such as war planning and diplomacy on IRC, coupled with the fact that there are people out there who love to sit in their enemies' IRC channels and log. Coldfront is where 98% of the CN community resides, so NWR and I decided that it makes sense to have a public channel there, and retain the main SSX channel for other things. If anyone feels that this is not a good idea, feel free to speak up.
If all goes well, we should be up and running in an official capacity by midweek!
