Yep, I actually renewed my Gold membership. I found out the other day about an offer showing up on consoles for considerably cheaper (obviously coinciding with Reach's release). 40% off for a year was too good an opportunity to pass up (35.99+tax rather than the usual 59.99+tax). Perhaps now over the few months or so I may get into the games I got Xmas which a couple others here have, like the Far Cry 2 or Fable 2. I've also got (or rather, my son has got) the new Halo Reach. Game does look a lot nicer than the previous releases.

Actually the likely reason they offered the 40% off price is that the online price will go up as of Nov 1st. I am not 100% but I think it goes up to $9.99 a month but the yearly price is like $10 more than the current yearly price. Regardless it's a great deal that everyone should try and get in on.

Yeah, the yearly price is going up... but in the US only. Exchange rate has been close to parity for some time now, yet we've always paid $10 more for LIVE every year. Makes sense we all pay the same price now. Though... I wish they lowered our price to match what the US currently has.

Ahh. well at least your gold again. Maybe we can hook up to play some Reach or somethin. I am still workin on my Tribescentric level. I hope to have it done in the next couple of months. I am Giving lots of love to jet packing. In fact I have already gotten mad props for the 1337 jet packin skillz I have displayed. Sniper Rifle + Head shot while flying = badassity.
