Got it. Beat it. Good game.

Imagine if they made a Splinter Cell where they gave you 5th Freedom for the whole game.... This is game you would get. I feel this game is perfect for me as my cousin likened me to Jason Vorhees traipsing around the dark stabbing people in the face and leaving bodies where they lie. That is probably its only real short coming. I can't hide my handy work anymore, though in the circumstances that Fisher is in, I don't think he really gives a rats @$$. ;) If anyone has it, I am certainly willing to try out some co-op. I hear its a hoot. :)

Is it really as short as has been suggested? I was very interested in it until I heard the 5 hours figure touted around.

Forever an eXile and proud of it!

I think it must be as I've seen 5-7 hours mentioned on several places now in regards to the singleplayer campaign length from people who have completed it, and that's on realistic difficulty. When you take the co-op campaign & multiplayer into consideration there's a lot more of course but for just the SP one tis very short indeed by the sounds of it. This was one of the games I was really looking forward to before I heard that so it would be nice to hear those are just (several) big exaggerations.

Since I'm saving up for a new PC I only wanted to buy 1-2 games over the next few months and ones which would last me a little while. I was tempted to choose this as one of those since the demo was decent & I'm a fan of all the other SC games but if the SP campaign really is that short I don't particularly wanna go spending 40 quid on something I'll have completed not just the day I buy it but probably in one sitting heh. Sooo for the time being I'll just be getting Alan Wake & Red Dead Redemption since they're likely to last me a lot longer.
I will definitely get Conviction once I've got my PC though (and for the 360, not interested in the PC version if it has the online DRM), should hopefully have come down in price by then too. :)

Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

It depends on how you play too.. ANY Splinter Cell can be beaten in 5-7 hours. I happen to be the Jason Vorhees type, so this game is just perfectly suited to my homicidal tendencies. But add in Co-Op and it's that much more fun. In my Rainbow Six Vegas days, most of my mileage was gotten out of terrorist hunts which they have a close approximation of in here. so thats worth it to me right there.

Currently I am working on the realistic setting. I hear there is a glitch with it though. But they are aware and are fixing it.
