A lot of the fun for me has been the multiplayer challenges. Racing against someone online... not so much. But when you both have to preform some wicked stunt at the same time, well thats just fun. :)

Not got it myself. Have to admit, I tried the demo and came out thinking "GTA does this better". Is that just me?

I've never played a Burnout of GTA game. I don't know, neither series really looked that interesting to me. GTA4 looks like it might be a step up for the genre, though, so I might check it out.

Um.. I am not sure how you can compare GTA to burn out since they are two completely different genres and play completely differently but, ok I guess. I certainly don't think GTA every time a game has a sandbox setting. If there was any game to compare this too I think, maybe Test Drive Unlimited. I have never really played TDU so I am not the one to comment on that, but I do know that it has the similar open endedness to the game that BP does.

Smashy smashy, racing cars at extremely high speeds, doing little races here there and everywhere (like the ones in SA). As a concept the game is pretty shallow, in GTA its just one part of the sandbox concept. Probably not as developed as Burnout certainly, but I was certainly sat there thinking "This is more fun when I'm doing it along busy highways in GTA, generally causing mayhem."

Maybe it is just me, or that what I play the game for differs from others meaning they see things in it I do not :)

Yeah I am with Ed on that one. I personally can't see a comparison other than superficial ones, ie they both have races ect.

I always thought the driving mechanics of GTA were piss poor. Then again I never did any of the racing missions unless I had too.
