Im at 34. Didn't really bother to run the Shaman 'Totem of Air' quest line. Yet, I met up with a trainer who offered me the air totems (windfury, grounding, etc...) so I took em all. The quest has now disappeared and I have the ability to drop the totems, plus I now have the Air Totem in my inventory.
Two questions:
1. Is this a bug, or does it get to a point that once you get to a high enough level and talk to shammy trainer the quest is automatically accomplished?
2. Do I need to keep the totems idols in my inventory for the appropriate totems to work? Can I bank them (or ditch them)?

the air totem is the last totem you can get and the quest is talk to me and i give it to you.
