Well, tonight I will be getting my installation CDs back from my cousin if everything goes according to plan so I will finally be able to play again. Somehow I managed to screw up my entire WoW folder when I was playing around with the interface directory. Thank you, Jack, for trying to help me fix this problem.
I can't wait to see you guys and gals for the raid and for many PVP and PVE adventures throughout the rest of my winter break. I'd just like to appologize for my absence the past few months. It's been a rough semester at school and WoW has been the last thing on my mind for a while. But... over the last few weeks of school I'd been getting the itch to play again. Hopefully next semester will go a little more smoothly and I will see you all regularly.

Of course, with my dumb luck it only took such a short time for me to already have a problem. WoW seems to be disconnecting me literally within 30 seconds of logging on. I can't see my character, everyone's names are "unknown," my bag is full of question marks, I can't summon my mount, and then bam! "disconnected." I know it's not my router since that's never been a problem before, and I am the only one who knows how to access it to change any of its settings. I don't have any firewalls or anti-virus software installed on my computer since it was just recently formated. I do have the windows firewall enabled but set WoW as an exception, however. Any suggestions?

try reinstalling? when I had a disconnect problem it was acutally my internet company blocking it and not my computer or router.

this seems to happen right after a new patch, hit me me a long while back, yet only just happened to a a few other eu players last patch.
