"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay

The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Been a while since I updated! Love the FS2 screens bud - I'm hoping to get some myself too when I replay in the semi-near future
Some awesome looking LIS ones too, but I'm avoiding looking at those too hard until I play it methinks
I'm actually about to replace it with a new set which will last me until I get into the Stormblood content, so will see how that comes out. I will say though the gear in this game is SO pretty! I saw a Samurai the other day in endgame gear and fell in love (I may well switch to that job for Stormblood, if I can cap DRG in time).

Yep, it's new Dragon Scale gear from my Dragoon story quest! I didn't like it at first, but I admit it's grown on me over time.

I've not even scratched the surface of this game yet with the amount of story content it has to offer & with so many other great things to see & do in there, but after spending my first week in FFXIV I'd be very surprised if I don't end up subbing properly at the end of my free playtime. Love it!
If any of you are interested in giving this a try with us know that there is a Free Trial available which lets you play every job until level 35 for free (no playtime limit). Not only that but you can currently get a free copy of the starter edition of the game (which includes the full base game of A Realm Reborn (to lvl 50 content) + 30 days of free playtime) via Twitch Prime until May 3rd. If you don't have Twitch Prime? Check to see if you're eligible for a free trial of Amazon Prime as you might be able to claim a free copy via that as well (this is untested but I don't see why it wouldn't work - worth a try!).
You can find us on the Omega server

Hope you guys don't mind seeing so many screenshots from FFXIV btw! I've not seen all of ARR yet and I've still got 2 expansions awaiting me, plus a third one releasing this year if I continue that far lol
I would normally have been playing Metro Exodus today (I even bought it on Steam before they pulled it to go EGS exclusive for the year as it was one of my day one titles) but I'm having so much fun with FF atm that I don't want to break off from it just yet. I'm starting to understand why Anny has played virtually nothing else since last summer haha. Still planning to play Metro soon though but for now, enjoy some more FFXIV

These screenshots are awesome mate ^^ Really showing off the best of the game!
Very excited to see what you get from some of the Heavensward areas (one in particular, when you get there) as they truly are breathtaking to look at!

Cheers bud!
It is nice to have some new zones to explore & take screenshots of now that I've reached Heavensward! Also now that flying mounts are a thing (which are ofc fantastic for the purpose they are meant) I have a little more freedom now as to the height at which I can take screenies from as well, rather than having to be at ground level & using parts of the landscape (rocks, cliffs etc) to raise me up when needed. Expect some more pics in a few days ^^

Took a couple extra ones of Azys Lla since since it's probably the most unique zone I've seen so far in the game (and looks pretty awesome!).
Got one of the two mounts I've been after last night too! Though now begins the grind to getting the main one I want heh. Leaning towards finishing Heavensward this week and then taking another break from the story to PvP some more (need another 49 wins before I can get the other mount). There are a few other games I want to play this month as well so I may have some other screenies to share from those before I come to Stormblood stuff

Wondering whether we should split the FFXIV shots out into their own thread at this point, but love that there's so many
So glad you got some beautiful ones of Azys Lla - by FAR the prettiest zone for my money! I'll get some of these added to the gallery tonight

I'll probably have another batch or two to cover Stormblood (mixed in with other random shots, like our group ones) but that'll probably be it for this thread until Shadowbringers hits later this year I reckon.
I keep meaning to start a few other games as well but FFXIV has had me sooo hooked lol. They're starting to pile up though (Metro, The Occupation, Trüberbrook and Sekiro is out this week as well) so I really gotta get on those haha.
Also, wait until you reach Kugane!

Days Gone (PS4)
Critics had very mixed feelings about this game (reviews have ranged from as low as 1.5/5 right up to the high 80s and 90s) but reading around and the general player reception to it has seemed much more positive actually. I'm definitely with the players on this. Sure it has its problems (a few, to be fair) and it's not in the same league as other PS4 exclusives such as God of War (one of the best games of the generation) but there's still a thoroughly enjoyable experience here worthy of your time.

That art for Hades is really unique! Can't actually tell whether I like or dislike it!
