Should anyone want some 2017 recommendations (nobody asked but I've played a lot this year so I'll give you some anyway lol), here are 10:
  • [*]NieR: Automata
    [*]Cuphead
    [*]Resident Evil 7
    [*]Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
[*]Life is Strange: Before the Storm
    [*]Nioh
    [*]Prey
    [*]What Remains of Edith Finch
    [*]Night in the Woods
    [*]RiME
All worth a look :)
That's a pretty solid list. I went through almost most of those games. I liked Cuphead and RE7 the most. Prey was kind of underwhelming for me.

Two of my favourite games of all time finally come to PC (and PS4/XBO) for the very first time next week and I can't quite believe it. Just 4 days from now!
This is a release I've been praying for for years and I'm honestly just as excited to see these games introduced to a new audience who will also (hopefully!) go on to love them just as much as I am getting to replay them myself. Though it has been over a decade for me now!

You're getting two amazing games here for less than 20 quid, please consider supporting them if you can ;) <3

I've been quite critical of Epic and their store since they launched it in December & am not usually one to promote them but since this sale of theirs is both pro-consumer & developer (with some damn good deals) I thought it was worth pointing out. Some titles are already discounted but on top of that, any game over £13.99 gets an additional £10 taken off it which Epic cover the cost of. Interestingly enough this also applies to some pre-orders so you can get upcoming titles such as the fantastic looking Afterparty, or the upcoming PC release of Journey (one of the best games of all time I might add) for less than half price.

Here are 10 highlights I've picked out (trailers included incase you've not heard of them before!). Prices differ depending on region ofc, these are UK:

Ashen (Out Now) - £13.99 [£31.99] Observation (Out Now) - £7.99 [£17.99] Shakedown: Hawaii (Out Now) - £4.99 [£14.99] Hades (Early Access) - £5.49 [£15.49] Journey (Pre-order) - £4.99 [£14.99] Afterparty (Pre-order) - £5.99 [£15.99] Outer Wilds (Pre-order) - £9.99 [£19.99] John Wick Hex (Pre-order) - £4.39 [£14.39] Heavy Rain (Pre-order) - £5.99 [£15.99] Beyond: Two Souls (Pre-order) - £5.99 [£15.99] Detroit: Become Human (Pre-order) - £19.99 [£29.99]

These are all EGS exclusives too, at least for now.

I still won't be buying anything full priced from them (not until they start adding features to their store/launcher & give people a reason to - and not just because something might be exclusive) but I caved and bought a few things in this sale since they were too good to pass up. I expect that some/all of these will release on Steam eventually (12 months seems to be the common exclusivity period) but I can't see them launching at such low prices as these (or even going that low in a Steam sale for a while). I could be wrong though!

Sale ends on 13th June :)
