This week I passed my final test for the pilot training qualification in German Air Force! :D

To become a air force pilot you have to pass 3 tests:
1st test is the general officers test where they test if you are a suitable officers candidate. When you pass that one you are allowed to become an officer (1st step for pilots).
2nd test is the psycological and medical test. There they test if you got the right connections in your brain to fly a plane and if your excessives party nights had any impact on your condition. Meaning they check your whole body. Everything. (sounds kinky... sorta)
3rd test is a very hard one where they want to see if your are motivated enough and can learn in a very short time lots of things. They test you in a flight simulator in which you have to fly some missions with a steady improvement.

Theoratically I would be able to fly everything up to jet, but the docs said "no". At first I wanted to fly helicopters but the docs said no to that as well.

But since I want to fly I decided to switch over to Turboprop and transport planes.

All I have to do is to wait for the date when I can start my training. Should take about 3 weeks till I get to know that. Then I can either begin at 1st August or 1st October this year.

Then I'll start first my officers training and after a few months, like 15, I will begin with my first pre-flight training. Somewhen next year or 2009 I'll come over to the US and get my first flight lessons in Goodyear, AZ :D

If I pass all tests and are allowed to fly, I'm gonna have to do flights in Afghanistan and from Germany to the Balkan region.

My plane is gonna be a C-160 Transall. Here are some pics:

So wish me luck for that!

Sweet and gratz! By the way, if that's your plane, you may want to put some tin foil over that left engine before you take off.

Hehe, once Rah gets qualified, he's going to take that plane and give all the SSX members free rides to a SSX party!
