It is definitely now time to organize some SSX get together and fights
in Gears of War. I would propose to fix a time during the next weekend.
Please post a time which would be suitable, and i will try to organize
the event.

Im constantly on Live during the day, not so much the weekends tho. Sunday on the other hand is the day for rest (in which I play games all day). So if anything send me invite and I will do my best.

so far we would be 4 people which could find some time this weekend.
(including Kahn, Ed, Ambush, and myself). that would be enough to do
some 2 versus 2 matches (or fill it up with random). so i would propose, that we try to fix a time on sunday:
Sunday 3 Dezember: 20:00 GMT, that is 21 CET, 15:00 EST.
hope this proposed time fits to everyone.

Great games tonight guys. For 4 guys who never played together, we did pretty well, despite my inability to stay alive

Those were some of the most fun games I've had since launch (when nobody knew what they were doing ). Teams were very even and every round mattered. Most of the games I play are very one-sided, and the game was already beginning to get old after only a month. I'm with Quiz, we gotta set up another one.

The girlfriend bought an Xbox 360, and asked for Gear o War (the collector's edition no less). I haven't played a console game in 4 years, but I may have to start.

had the same problem for a while. but there is an easy solution:
dont fight --> run run run and dodge bullets
sometimes i kill one of the two boomer (with the torque bow)
or i start running immediately. both works useually.

hm, yeah boomers like to target you and wait with shooting until you leave cover, but they have a long reload time. so best is to lure their shots and still keep in cover and then run. get the timing when they are ready to shoot again and get back in cover.

I thought this might be a question fitting in this topic:
How long does an average experienced-in-shooting-games player take to complete the singleplayer(I assume there are several difficulty-levels) on the hardest level?
Thanks in advance.

Short game, you could beat it in a day.
