It's like X-Men for the intelligent without the yellow spandex or the black tight latex, with a good screenwriter.
If you haven't been watching this, so far, it more than rivals Battlestar Galactica as far as quality shows go.
It's currently probably the best one out there so far. First and second episodes are kind of "intro" for the setting, but after the second one it goes into overdrive of awesome.
Don't miss it.

I've watched about the first three or four episodes (up to the part where the two Japanese guys get to the US) and am liking it so far. I've got up to episode 7 still to watch, which I'll probably do later tonight.

Yeah, you need to grab them from beginning to end, especially going from 1 to latest.Inquisitor wrote:I caught bits of a couple episodes, it didn't grab me.
The show is very much a "To Be Continued" style and while the first two aren't THAT great (because they're set ups for everything), the remaining ones are.

Maybe we'll netflix them when they hit DVD.

Hmmm, havent heard about this one. Is it SciFi channel? I wasnt impressed by their other attempt at unique programmes (Eureka).

I wonder how Sylar gets his powers... Does he eat the brain?

Either he gets it through eating their brain, or by examining their brain and then altering his own. Probably the former, though. Yuck.

We saw the "Paint the future" guy with his skull opened, and his brain missing, meaning he probably eats the brains.
Which makes him AWESOME.

not to resurrect old topics...
but I just picked it up recently, remembering this thread and being fed up with bsg release in us but not on sky (yet...2 days), and it has sucked me right in.
Its actually intriuging and very well shot....trying to ignore the previous posts about previous episodes....and glad its back this month.
If you're not watching it....go and watch it.

One episode away from the Season 1 closing.
This is by far, the best series I have ever watched, out of all the series I've seen (and I've seen A LOT).
