Officers and leaders and what not

Now we're in it a bit, and settled, how do we want to deal with the officers thing?

I am fond of sharing the responsibility, specifically if folks like Kaos are on, and wants to invite someone I think they should be able to

they don't seem to serve any purpose other than to be able to invite (or kick) non-officers.

Is there a reason NOT to promote people to officer?

Also, if nobody objects, I'd like to promote at least Kaos to officer so he can invite his mates for a trial.

I'd suggest that we make Erica Zero an officer. S/he (not sure which in RL) is always helpful and is online regularly.

I know we have not formalized our officer policy. For me, I think if you can get along with the group, are helpful, and play with some regularity, you should be an officer. Just an opinion.

Well aside from my "don't act like an asshat" rule, I think we can promote peopel up who have played regularly with us and is generally a good person.

The officer position is a position that people will look to when members have issues. We will be the folks to put out the fires so to speak, so we should look carefully to who we put there. Also I think from now on we should have peopel do the vouching thing for officers.

That being said, I think we should be extra careful who we put in the leader position as well. On top of the afore mentioned things that person needs to be rather active as well. Cause as a leader if we need to make changes and what not we need to have that person there regularly and not just around on weekends.

I understand that people have lives and what not but paying attention to the forums will be needed as well. That way if the leader can't be there at least they understand what's going on.

Teamspeak is becomming a necessity now. We should start usin it.

Anywho that's what I think should happen.

Everything here sounds good to me, only thing to add might be making sure they are a full member (2 people vouched) and registered on forums perhaps?

And yes, we need to get more people (who are going to participate in PvP) used to using TS with us
Its not only essential from a tactic standpoint, but often takes getting used 2..... as it is another key to press in combat and only one person can speak at once

I've never had a problem hearing 4 people talk at once Though I'm not saying I understood what they said

But seriously, the game's so much more engaging with TeamSpeak and you get to hear Laughing Man yell in frustration after he spends 20 minutes looking for "Little Thom" only to find out the dude's already dead... Or you can hear me whine about how I hate warping mobs and warping lag.

i hope i will get team speak running. i allways have problems with my sound card. (in ventrilo i either had sound in GW or in ventrilo but never in both at the same time). else i hope someone can help me with this bug.

but i am anyway not sure whether you will hear me in TS, as i useually hear very loud freaking goa beats in the background.


i certainly would propose that Kaos and Erika sign up on the forum. i will vouch for both, and then promote them to officers.

already signed up here hehe. I dont mind if im promoted or not to be honest, mates are being stuckin their ways with WoW, and wont listen to my "but damn it no monthlies!" lol. nevermind. So it doesnt really matter to me either way lol.

On another note, been inactive a little bit, gonna be back on on the 31st apparently, for a few days, then will be inactive again for a few days lol, but at least ill be on a bit :P and as for teamspeak, yeah i need to get used to it lol.
