nonethelees the Ony tries with Band Camp weren't a bigg succes i suggest we try to keep this raid offer. imo they have alot of potential and raiding is a nice change from pvp and grinding other stuf

BUT: there went a few things wrong wich we might have been able to avoid

planning: going Ony all of a sudden was a big supprise for all of us. if we have know this better from before, we would have been able to prepare us a litle more.
also some ppl didn't know who the MT was or there wasn't a real raid leader i suggest we should ask someone with alot of experience to be the raid leader, the raid leader must be someone who can make ppl do what they should do, and make ppl pay attention
and to start with ony wasn't the best move. although Ony can be 5 manned she still is a pretty nasty boss. if we would have started with MC wich is alot easier we would have killed a couple bosses and we would be fine.

nonetheless it didn't got that well. i strongly recoomend that we should continue this and keep up the "good" work

I agree with the OP here. While it was an obvious disappointment not to down ony (which we actually did with a pug group sometime ago; go figure), should we throw in the towel on the first attempt? Even if ony has been downed for ages, remember that for many "new" things or groups there are bound to be some hiccups at the start. As iefel said, we prolly needed just a little more organization from the top and focus and discipline from the rest of the raid. One thing which ought to be mentioned about band camp is that it is mostly an alt guild (of ascension). So when ascension is doing raids (from sunday to wednesday) most of their experienced guys are with the main guild.

Ony is not a hard fight really, i personally only did her 3 times but i read some tactics before my first try and followed what the raid leader said and it went fine. So there should be no reason for us not managing her next time round if everyone is prepared and focused (which alas not all were yesterday).

Enough ranting from me now. Dont just give up if things went wrong first time round, will be better next time

On another note. First impressions can be deceiving don't let them get you down. I'm sure with alot more work you'll steam through it. Just don't give up hope.^^
