You want a DPS 2her.

Wondered about weapons recently myself and compiled the following list for our guild forums based on the follow premise:

Methodology
The damage range figures were generated using CTprofiles.net, based off a nekid Gada (my Dorf pally) which has the following (relevant) stats:

Strength: 107
Agility: 61
Melee: 300
Power: 374

Weapon proc's have been ignored as they cannot be described as reliable damage.

As you may have noticed DEoI is above HoR on the first list, despite HoR having a slightly higher top end in damage. I changed the placements for 1st and 2nd myself because the DEoI has a higher overall range while having a slightly lower top end figure.

However, after you include the proc, and - unless you are a dwarf paladin, +5 maces, sulfuras is and will remain to be, the best Paladin DPS 2h in the game until Naxxramas comes out, and even then, only replaced by Might of Menethil.

If you want to pick up a 2h DPS weapon I really would recommend only these;

The rest either falls below the level of which to be concerned with (since TUF is casually attainable), or isn't worth the DKP/Hassle of wrestling it out of the hands of the warriors or hunters.

So if you're gonna aim for anything, aim for those

Swell post , but i don't think i have seen a paladin with the untamed blade yet though

My Strength: is 345 with 1145 Attack Power when using my dps? or as i like to think 'killing gear' hmmm i'll check later what those stats are with gimped ummmm normal pally gear

Barb of the sand reaver is so ugly that it should be removed from the list
