After tonight's unsynced runs of The Binding Coils of Bahamut Turns 1-5, and our progress sticking on Turn 5, I figured I'd post this up to both give us more resources for future runs and also to say how awesome that was and how much I enjoyed myself :D

Fight Mechanics
Probably worth taking a look at these, particularly the Phase 4 mechanics we were struggling with, and the Phase 5 mechanics yet to come.

Guide
The Binding Coil of Bahamut: Turn 5 Guide

Obviously this guide doesn't fully apply as we're running unsynced, but it has a good description of mechanics, positioning etc. Could be useful.

We'll attempt more runs as soon as we're all together in the evening again (hopefully the next couple of days). Mech you're more than welcome to join us too if you like, but you need to have completed the ARR storyline to unlock the content. Unlock guide is here: Primal Awakenings - Prerequisite Quest

We can do this guys, we were doing so well! Let's do it :) Then we can get onto the Second Coil of Bahamut!!!

In that case, if my conscience becomes a hindrance to me, then I will simply erase it. I have no other choice but to move forward....therefore!" - Lelouch vi Britannia/Zero, Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch

Forever an eXile and proud of it!

I shall give those a look before we make our return ^^. Have watched a few of her dungeon/trial guides before which have been really helpful, even if it can be hard trying to remember everything sometimes lol.

Really enjoyed tonight though! My free playtime is up in a day or two iirc but I set up a subscription earlier on in the week (or should have if I did it right lol) which should kick in once that ends) ;D

Didn't get any action screenies but did get a couple nice posing ones. Should go nicely in the gallery ;)

Sorry I've not been around as much this week to progress this any - it's been a busy one!

Hoping I'll have an evening over the next few days where we can go back for another attempt, if people are free :)

Great job tonight guys! Twintania and the Binding Coil of Bahamut - DOWN :D

I still think we can go a way further before the content is beyond us. I'll put another thread up for the second coil, so we can plan for next time!

Quite a few mechanics to remember & pay attention to (Isi's knowledge was incredibly useful here even after watching the video guide!) but once you get to grips with them the battle itself isn't actually that difficult tbh. Great job you two ;)

I see these are already up in the gallery (ta Anny <3) but no harm in putting them in the thread too!
